Joe joined the contributing team at market leading fantasy football website Fantasy Football Scout in 2011 and in 2013 was promoted to managing editor. His roles include community management, writing, editing and contributing to the long term strategy and features of the website. Other work for Fantasy Football Scout includes hosting a weekly live podcast on Youtube and being interviewed on Fantasy Football issues for among others Talk Sport and Radio Yorkshire.

Search engine optimisation has been crucial to preparing a series of guides and features for this housing market website. Joe has helped ensure key search phrases are included in the copy and provided meta keywords and meta descriptions.

Neonfiller.com

Joe launched alternative music website Neonfiller.com in 2009 to provide a platform for aspiring music journalists and develop his online and social media skills. Joe manages a team of contributors for the website, writes reviews and articles using audio and video tools, edits the website and coordinates its Twitter and Facebook presence. Joe also organises and promotes Neonfiller branded gigs to showcase new bands.

Apps for Special Needs

Joe helped form this group of Somerset based parents of children with special educational needs during 2012 to help parents and promote ways technology can support children at both home and in school. Joe handled promotion for the group and launched its  presence on Facebook and Twitter. He also gives presentations to parents and teachers about technology and its role in special educational needs.
